Ritchie Community League’s board approved a motion Thursday, July 8, to take the required steps, as stated in its bylaws, to move its western boundary from the CPR railway line to the centre of 103 Street, between Whyte (82nd) and 72 avenues.
Community isn’t just about proximity, it’s about connection, belonging, and looking out for one another. It’s about creating a space where friendships are formed, where people can turn when they need support, and where everyone feels like they are part of something bigger than themselves. That’s why we’re working hard to build a new Ritchie Hall, not just as a physical space, but as a home for connection, resilience, and belonging.

Mill Creek Ravine erosion repairs will close westbound 76 Avenue to traffic until late February 2025. The lower ravine trail is also closed, with alternate routes for pedestrians and cyclists. Updates will follow.
