Ritchie Community League’s Annual General Meeting is coming soon!
Join us August 20 at 7 pm to celebrate all the amazing things we accomplished over the past 12-ish months, review our financials, and elect the 2026/27 board of directors.
Help set up chairs, etc.
We are looking for a number of volunteers to help us out during the event. Setting up chairs, checking memberships at the door, that sort of thing. Easy stuff!
If you were already planning on attending the meeting, can you swing by a bit earlier and help us out? Democracy in action sometimes looks like setting up tables!

WHAT’S INVOLVED?
10 board meetings per year
Additional committee or team meeting depending on the position
Most of the work is done from home on your own schedule
5 to 30 hours per month, depending on the position
Help Ritchie Community League achieve our yearly priorities and the goals set out in our Strategic Plan 2023-27

We believe that diversity makes us stronger, and a diverse leadership better reflects our community. The following skills and experience was identified by the Nomination Committee has being ++ important this year:
Indigenous or newcomer leadership
Non-profit and/or fundraising experience
Community advocacy, civic engagement and facilitation
Previous board or leadership experience
Emerging and young professionals
People skills and “go-gettedness” are ALWAYS in demand

That team will schedule a phone call or meetup to have a quick chat about your interests, explain how board service works, and answer any questions you have. If there’s a good match, we add your name to the elections slate for voting on August 20!
