Among its many tasks, the Volunteer Support Team helps:
Identify the volunteer needs we have here in the league and how best to “advertise” them
Host meet and greets, volunteer events and fairs
Onboard new volunteers
Train new volunteers on how to use Basecamp and other tools
Coordinate with other directors to ensure their volunteer needs are met
Pair opportunities with volunteers
Organize volunteer appreciation gifts and volunteer parties
Gather volunteer feedback
Create processes to make the volunteer experience valuable, safe, and fun
Support volunteers!
