Does your child love performing or being the class clown? Then this is the camp for them! This one week camp uses the elements of drama to explore the different ways of performing. This camp will help your child find their voice, learn how to move comfortably in their body, perform in front of others and work as a team to create and tell their very own story.

MAD SCIENCE, JULY 20-24

STEM Engineer Academy

  • Ages 5-11

  • 9am - 4pm

  • Early drop off from 8:30 - 9am, and pick up from 4 - 4:30 pm

This summer put your hardhat on and step into the shoes of an engineer with Mad Science! Campers spend the week learning about aerospace, mechanical, automotive, structural and nautical engineering. Through hands-on construction projects using LEGO® bricks, teams of campers will complete engineering projects of varying difficulty levels. They use critical thinking, and creative problem-solving to test and improve their creations.

For the kiddo who wants to do it all, check out this BRAND NEW camp in drama and improv. Students will spend one week playing with improv techniques and games, as well as principles of acting and scene study to emerge as well-rounded performers.

Comedy Crash Course

Get ready to work your funny bone as you dive into various comedic styles, honing your skills in a supportive and energetic environment. Throughout the course, you'll collaborate with fellow students and create your own hilarious material, culminating in a final performance that showcases your unique comedic voice.

ROBOTICS, AUGUST 4-7

  • Ages 9 - 12, $157.50 (morning)

This unique opportunity allows youth to gain valuable knowledge and experience in the energy, environment, and climate sectors. Through various engaging and dynamic activities, participants will learn to program their robot and channel their ideas and creativity into solutions for the future. Steve Schultz, an award-winning science and robotics teacher, will lead the robotics camps.

Students aged 9-15 will have fun in four, half-day robotics camps. Through the robot's SMART world add-on, attendees will learn about sustainable technologies and possible solutions for a real-world problem: food scarcity and insecurity.

Guest speakers from organizations that use SMART farming concepts and ag-tech will inspire and engage campers. With a focus on inspiring the future innovators of our province, our summer camps provide an unparalleled opportunity for young people to get their "tech on".
