Building More Than a Hall: Strengthening ...

Community isn’t just about proximity, it’s about connection, belonging, and looking out for one another. It’s about creating a space where friendships are formed, where people can turn when they need support, and where everyone feels like they are part of something bigger than themselves. That’s why we’re working hard to build a new Ritchie Hall, not just as a physical space, but as a home for connection, resilience, and belonging.

Crime has been on people’s mind in Ritchie lately. Our Facebook feed and town hall meeting with Councillor Mike Nickel and Police Chief Dale McFee in late September showed just how frustrated residents and police are with how things stand. One way to reclaim our sense of security is by knowing who to call and when if we spot something that’s not right.

Cyclists surpass 100,000 km goal

Bike challenge halfway to NEW 100,000 km goal

Organizers of the Community League Bike Challenge had no idea how much pent-up desire there was among members to ride. As a result, they’ve moved the finish line. Like all things these days, meeting the new challenge can only be accomplished TOGETHER, apart.
