Ritchie Community League calls on its members and supporters every two years to volunteer staffing a casino. That time is now!
With an expected payout of approximately $77,000, this is a significant league fundraiser.
So how does the league use the funds you help it raise? For several years, it has been squirreling away casino funds and going into this month’s event, has banked $493,651. Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) agency, which oversees casinos, has allowed this sum to accumulate because the league has earmarked it for a new hall. Planning that major capital project is the work of the Ritchie Hall Revitalization Committee (RHRC).
So thanks casino volunteers! You are an important part of the New Hall project!
